Painting the Town

I'm continuing along with my urban and architectural themed paintings.  I'm enjoying capturing the charm that the classic downtowns of the region boast.

The little theater in downtown Bigfork boasts a host of colorful flowers and is decorated with several colorful posters on the exterior.

Road to the mill, Oil on Canvas   6"x8" 
I painted this little painted on the last day of the Arts in the Park Festival. This is the view down Central Ave. from depot park.  The old mill looms in the distance on this lovely Montana afternoon.

The hanging flower baskets were in their full glory in downtown Kalispell's main street.  I painted this little painting during the Arts in the Park festival.

Patriotic Bigfork, Oil on Canvas   6"x8" 

The Bigfork Inn at the end of Electric avenue in Bigfork was all decorated in the red white and blue for the Fourth.  The window baskets were overflowing with beautiful white and red flowers.
