The hillsides and valleys are shifting to a wonderful emerald green.  The days are lengthening and weather is ideal. Three painting days are becoming more common for me.

Smith Valley Bales, Oil on Canvas   11"x14"
The morning light back-lit this scene in smith Valley.  I was drawn to the strong silhouette of the tractor and bales and the soft light on the distant hillsides.

Winding Down, Oil on Canvas   8"x10"
This is one of my favorite little spots in the area and the reds in the evening sky enveloped the scene.
Drifting Over, Oil on Canvas   6"x8"
About mid day, some large billowy cloud formations drifted over head and I took the opportunity to capture this little study.
