In The Garden

Groupings of potted plants and flowers always have such a wide variety of personalities and give insight into the gardener themselves.  I enjoy the intimacy of little scenes such as these.

Fall in the Carneros, Oil on Canvas   6"x8"
Napa California's vineyards take on hues of yellow orange and red after the harvest. This is a nice hidden gem in Napa's Carneros wine appelation.

Seasons End, Oil on Canvas   8"x8"
The late afternoon sun illuminated this scene.  I loved the way the succulents stood in contrast to the annuals which were quickly loosing their petals.
