San Francisco Mural

Bay View Window, Acrylic on 4 Canvas Panels  8'x10'

This was a project I worked on in 2008 while I was working at a game company called PlayFirst in San Francisco.  I designed this mural and worked on it after hours.  Quite a few of my co-workers helped out in the monumental task.  I kept the color palette simple so different shades would be easy to mix.  Firstly I created a digital painting, then transferred the basic drawing to the canvas panels using a grid system.  Each Canvas Panel is 4 feet by 5 feet.  When arranged together, the entire piece is 8 feet by 10 feet.

For the last 5 years the mural has been at PlayFirst in San Francisco.  It has come into my possession recently as a stroke of fate.  My wife and I decided it would be cool to donate it to a worthy cause.  My dad found a home for it at West Park Elementary in Napa CA where it will hopefully inspire a new generation of artists.
